ClassMinds is an AI study app built by a college student for college students. Drop in your schedule, your AI tutor knows your real notes — not just the internet.
ClassMinds is a study app for college students that combines an AI tutor, per-class group chat, and deadline tracking into one iOS app. The AI is grounded in the student's own uploaded lecture notes, slides, and syllabi — so answers cite the actual page or note they came from, not a generic web search.
Students drop in their school schedule PDF and ClassMinds automatically extracts every class with time, location, and instructor. Per-course chat is gated by verified .edu email, so classmates can share notes and ask questions without strangers from the internet showing up.
Built solo by a college student tired of juggling five different apps to get through a semester. Currently in TestFlight beta on iOS 17+, with Android and a web companion in active development.

Founder bio
Riley is a college student who built ClassMinds because no single app actually had everything a student needs to get through a semester. The first version came out of frustration with juggling Notion, Google Calendar, Quizlet, ChatGPT, and a half-dozen Discord servers just to study for one exam.
He builds in public — the roadmap and changelog are visible to anyone who wants to see what's shipping. The app is currently in iOS TestFlight beta, with Android and a web companion in active development.
Quote (for use in articles): "ChatGPT doesn't know what your professor said in class. ClassMinds does — because you fed it your real notes, not the entire internet."
